All aboard with Eamonn Holmes: 85 franchisees set sail with The Travel Franchise on its celebrity-studded ‘Seminar at Sea’ cruise

The Travel Franchise is celebrated for its groundbreaking strategies that empower anyone to run a thriving home-based travel agency and this week, it literally helped 85 franchisees set sail towards success on a company cruise.

Co-founder Steve Witt and his team of cruise experts invited consultants to experience a five-night ‘Seminar at Sea’ mentoring retreat, sailing from Southampton to Scandinavia on the luxurious ship, Sky Princess.

And who else was on board with them? None other than celebrity TV broadcaster Eamonn Holmes OBE who was unveiled as the company’s spokesperson last week, and fellow presenter Hayley Sparkes, The Travel Franchise’s brand ambassador.

Celebrities aside, the company’s Seminar at Sea cruise isn’t just any ordinary cruise. Onboard consultants receive expert coaching on how to skyrocket their travel business and gain an even bigger slice of the lucrative cruise market, known for high commissions and repeat customers.

This star-studded trip is the company’s third Seminar at Sea training programme, and these fun and adventurous trips have become a massive hit with franchisees. Over the last few days, consultants have been diving deep into all things Princess Cruises, sampling Michelin-starred menus, sipping cocktails crafted by the ship’s master mixologists and listening to cruise experts share their knowledge.

And the workshops aren’t just focussed on cruise. Award-winning entrepreneur and serial inventor Witt has led business sessions, sharing his tried and tested growth strategies, while Hayley has highlighted winning ways for business owners to elevate their brand. And of course, Eamonn gave a fantastically inspirational talk with his trademark wit and humour.

Franchisee Andy Richardson said: “This has been an amazing experience in every way. I’m learning so much about how to grow my cruise sales, my travel business and about the amazing Princess brand. I’m blown away by the quality of everything onboard.”

If previous Seminar at Sea events are anything to go by, Witt said cruise sales will soar as soon as consultants get back on dry land but added some agents were already booking holidays while onboard.

Witt said: “The training our consultants have received has been laser-focused on increasing profits through product knowledge, social media skills, mindset and business strategy. We have created a winning formula that results in significant sales success for absolutely everyone involved.”
