UBX franchisees and their staff teams celebrated their achievements over the past 12 months at the Empowered Brands 2024 Annual Prevo Conference and Awards Ceremony.
For UBX franchisees, this was an opportunity to network with each other, share best practice, and experience the benefits of being part of a wider franchise network.

The highlight of the conference was an inspiring talk by former Olympian, Roger Black, who showed how the Olympic mindset can be applied to business.
During the conference franchisees also learned about the very latest developments in the health, fitness and wellness industry, as well as gaining an insight into the future technology that will shape the sector in the years to come.
When it came to the annual awards and gala dinner, this was the moment for UBX franchisees and their team members to shine.
Neil Rushby, owner of UBX Sheffield and co-owner at UBX Media City, UBX Alderley and UBX Windsor, scooped the prestigious UBX Franchisee of the Year award for his dedication in helping to drive the early growth of the UBX brand in the UK and Ireland.
André Hordagoda and his team at UBX Wembley landed the UBX Presale Club of the Year award. This was recognition for getting UBX Wembley off to a flying start, selling over 100 memberships before officially opening, setting a new record for UBX presale memberships in the UK and Ireland.
Dusty Zeisberger of UBX Media City picked up the UBX Club Manager of the Year award, demonstrating the value that club managers and team members can provide for their franchise owners in driving the business forwards and delivering a fantastic experience for members.
UBX Stepaside landed UBX Retention Club of the Year, whilst UBX Media City, the very first UBX gym to open in the UK and Ireland, scooped the UBX Club of the Year award.
The Empowered Brands Annual Prevo Conference & Awards is a highlight of the year, with the awards in particular providing the motivation and inspiration for UBX gyms to push to achieve their goals in the subsequent year. This year’s event was held at Stadium MK, Milton Keynes.
The Prevo conference is also an opportunity to network and meet with suppliers and franchisees from the other brands within the Empowered Brands portfolio.
